Engagement Session at the Riverbanks Botanical Gardens

Shannon and Ian’s engagement session at the Riverbanks Botanical Gardens in Columbia did NOT disappoint. Not only were Shannon and Ian so fun to be around, but they totally knocked their session out of the water! To say that I’m excited about their wedding at the ZOO this summer would be an understatement.

Funny story: Shannon and I are a part of the same sorority at the same school, but she graduated before I joined. The funny part? If you know anything about sororities, you know that there are “family trees.” Tri Sigma has three different family trees, a Pearl tree, a Big/Little tree, and a Violet tree. It would take too long to explain, so a quick Google search would help you understand, but SHANNON AND I ARE IN THE SAME VIOLET TREE. WHAT?! She had NO idea when she inquired with me and I only realized this when I saw pictures of her with my Violet. Shannon is my GRAND VIOLET. Crazy! What a small world, haha!

That makes me even MORE excited to photograph her wedding this summer! Shannon and Ian, thank you so much for choosing me to capture these moments and celebrate with you! You two are seriously the best!

Sigma Love and All Mine! <3
