Stunning Wedding at the River Road and Jasmine Houses in Columbia, SC

Ellie and Patrick’s wedding at the River Road and Jasmine Houses in Columbia, SC was absolutely beautiful! Despite having to postpone their March wedding, it was a magical October day filled with fun, friends, and laughter. It truly could not have been more perfect!

How they met and how Patrick proposed, as told by Ellie:

“We met in the fall of 2009 through mutual friends at the University of South Carolina. We ended up taking a few of the same classes together. We started out as friends and study buddies then in September of 2010, we made it (facebook) official!”

“It was New Year’s Eve 2018. We had one of my best friend’s weddings the night before, so a bunch of our friends were in town and made plans to go to the Grand on Main for NYE. We got to the Grand and of course the boys started to bowl. I was not very interested, but thankfully at dinner one of my friends suggested we should take turns bowling. Patrick came to tell me it was my turn to bowl and I am so glad I did not hesitate. I bowled (what I am pretty sure was a gutterball) and when I turned around he was down on one knee. I WAS SHOOK. Patrick is not a huge PDA person, so him doing this in front of a large crowd really took me by surprise. It was the best kept secret and one of the BEST days of my life!”
