Samantha and Spencer’s wedding at Jeter Mountain Farm was absolutely beautiful. It couldn’t have been a more perfect day. They tied the knot surrounded by their family and closest friends, and I was so blessed to have been there to photograph it!
From the couple: “Spencer and Samantha met while at Western Carolina University during their sophomore years. The two were both in Greek life, Spencer in Pi Lambda Phi and Samantha in Alpha Chi Omega. Being in such a close community within Greek life, Spencer and Samantha met through mutual friends and began their journey. After being introduced the two decided to go on a date. On this date, Spencer expressed his entire life story to Samantha as they walked the campus together. It was then that the two began their inseparable bond knowing each other’s life stories and becoming best friends. Over the next year and a half, Spencer and Samantha both developed feelings for one another, yet due to being such great friends neither acted on how they felt. It was their junior year and the two were both single on Valentine’s day and decided to spend the day together as friends. It was on this day that Spencer finally told Samantha how he had been feeling about her, and lucky enough she felt the same way. That following weekend, Spencer took Samantha to the Knoxville Zoo for their first official date as a couple. Since that late February day in 2017, the two have grown closer and closer together.”
It may sound cheesy, but the rest was history! Spencer proposed to Samantha in the very place they had their first date, the Knoxville Zoo, right in front of her favorite animals – the otters! Now, they are finally MARRIED.
Samantha and Spencer, thank you so much for choosing me to capture your special day! Enjoy these SNEAK PEEKS!!
A huge thank you to all the amazing vendors!
