5 Things Every Bride Needs on their Wedding Day

1. A Mrs. Box

These keepsake velvet ring boxes are a DREAM! I’m completely obsessed them, and if I had to choose ONE thing every bride should have, I’d probably choose this! Not only will it be a small memorabilia from your wedding day, but they add SO MUCH to your detail images! Besides, why keep such a treasure in a plain, black box? It deserves so much more!

Alternative: If the Mrs. Box is out of your budget, Etsy has HUNDREDS of affordable options! Just look up “velvet ring box” plus your wedding colors and the options will be endless!

2. Custom Dress Hangers

It may not seem like much and could slip your mind, but it makes a HUGE difference! Why keep your stunning dress (and bridesmaid dresses) on their original plastic hangers? Investing in custom wooden hangers always adds a beautiful touch to your dresses and wedding photos! Again, Etsy has HUNDREDS of options for great prices! Just find the hangers that speak to you and send the seller a note!

3. Matching Robes

Don’t forget the robes! One of my favorite things is when brides get matching robes for their bridesmaids! It’s the cutest thing and OH MY, those photographs are ALWAYS stunning! I mean, seriously. Why strut around in your pjs or leggings when you can all look like a million bucks?

4. The Veil of Your DREAMS

Okay, I admit it, I’m obsessed with veils. I can’t help it. Veils, especially long veils, photograph so beautiful and there is just SO MUCH I can do with them! My number one goal during bride + groom portraits to get as much variety as possible in a short amount of time. One quick way I do that is to utilize the VEIL for some of the images! Not to mention, what bride doesn’t want a veil toss shot?! #DREAMY

5. Champagne Glasses

Every bride needs a little bit of wine or champagne as they’re getting ready. That being said, don’t forget to bring enough matching champagne glasses for you and your bridesmaids if you’re planning on having some! They don’t have to be custom (though that’s always plus.) Just a few plain champagne glasses so we can get those pictures of your toasting right before you but on your dresses. Cheers to GETTING MARRIED! *squeal*
