Amazing Wedding at the Peninsula Yacht Club on Lake Norman

Leah and Matt’s wedding at the Peninsula Yacht Club in Lake Norman was truly a dream.

They met through mutual friends in Buffalo, NY. They know each other for about 2 years before they decided to start dating long distance. Eventually, Leah moved to Charlotte and Matt followed. Since then, they have never looked back!

From the bride, Leah: Matt asked me to go to brunch in the city on a Saturday to celebrate our 5 year anniversary. After brunch we walked through Romare Bearden park on the way back to the car – this was one of our first stops when we explored Charlotte together for the first time! As we walked by the water fountain he proposed, his friend was close behind filming the whole thing! We then went to meet our “friends” for a drink at a brewery where both families were all waiting for us! Matt had planned for everyone to be there for the big day, this was the best surprise of all!
